Heating mat for pre-germination and growth of plants
Suitable for sprouting box or mini greenhouse with or without light.
An electric sprout heating mat is used for pre-germination of plants. The seeds germinate in no time when extra heat is added and cuttings to form roots faster.
The heating mat can also be used, e.g. in the greenhouse for under-heating for pots in cold periods.
The heating mat must not be flooded with water. Use a good one seed tray together with the sprout mat, e.g. QuickPot. In case of pre-sprouting, it is recommended that the heat is switched on for 16 hours a day.
You can advantageously use an insulating plate under the heating mat. It retains the heat so it is not lost downwards.
The mat heats the ground up to approx. 28 degrees. The heating mat is suitable for a small plant tray.
Connects directly to 230VAC via the supplied plug and consumes only 45 watts.
