Cress seeds
Common watercress (Tropaeolum majus) is one of our most favorite summer flowers and it can be used in many different ways. The plant originally comes from Peru, where it can grow up to 3 m high and is a climbing plant. It is mainly the many hybrid varieties that are cultivated. These become 30-90 cm high; the flowers are large and have brilliant colors. The large shield-shaped leaves, like the other parts of the plant, are completely smooth. The flowers are symmetrical with a long spur, and the color is either yellow, orange, red or multi-colored in yellow and orange-red.
The petals of the flowers can be eaten.
