Thymus vulgaris is a beautiful low purple flowering herb with intense fragrance.
The plant is suitable as a spice in soups, pizza, meat, poultry and fish dishes.
Should be harvested before the plant sets flower.
Can be used fresh and dried.
Height approx.: 15-20cm
Harvest time: May to September
Place sunny and warm in light, nutrient-poor soil. Perennial plant that should be protected in winter.
