Yes, we recommend rinsing Allmix before use, especially if you are planting Very young or sensitive plants. Allmix is rich in nutrients and can be too strong at first. By rinsing with clean water, you help to:

• Lowering the initial EC level
• Activate microorganisms
• Preparing the soil for root growth

Here's how you do it: Water the soil thoroughly with clean water (without fertiliser) until a little water comes out at the bottom of the pot. Then leave the substrate to soak for 24 hours before planting.
