Description

Cat grass tray for growing grass without soil - Pink

A pink/white cat litter tray is designed to grow cat grass, a type of grass that cats enjoy gnawing on. Cat grass can promote better digestion and reduce hairball formation in cats.

This tray creates perfect conditions for safe and controlled grass growth, allowing your cat to enjoy fresh grass indoors. This is especially useful as it gives your cat a natural and healthy snack without the need to be outdoors.

Many cat owners choose to have a cat litter tray in their home as it offers their cat a natural chewing activity that is healthy and contributes to their wellbeing.

Catnip can also create a sense of nature for a primarily indoor cat, which can have a calming and satisfying effect. It can also help distract the cat from chewing on other, possibly toxic, plants in the home.

However, it should be noted that not all cats are interested in catnip. Some may be disinterested, while others are very enthusiastic. If your cat shows no interest, it may help to try different types of grass or change the location of the tray to pique their curiosity.

Make your own catnip with wheatgrass

Follow the following recipe to make your own cat grass from Wheatgrass:

  1. Soak the wheat kernels in water for about 12-24 hours
  2. Distribute them evenly in the cat litter tray (top tray/grate)
  3. Pour approximately 5 mm of water into the sub tray
  4. Cover the sprout tray with plastic
  5. When the sprouts reach the plastic/lid, remove it
  6. Water regularly in the lower tray
  7. When the cat grass is about 10cm high, it's ready
  8. Remember to water the under tray regularly
